Inclusive Development International is delighted to announce that Seema Joshi is joining Inclusive Development International’s Board of Directors. Seema is currently the Legal Strategy Director at the FCA Accountability Accelerator and brings immense wisdom from her 25 years of experience working on corporate accountability from legal, human rights, environmental and climate perspectives. Previously, Seema held Director level positions at leading not-for-profit organizations, including overseeing Stand.earth’s Fashion and IT campaign, Amnesty International’s global Business and Human Rights work, and six climate campaigns while at Global Witness. In these capacities, she led teams and created cutting-edge strategies relating to a just energy transition, supply chains, environmental justice and corporate crimes.
Seema also worked for the United Nations based in Bangkok, where she implemented a regional environmental governance program, and practiced as a lawyer in Canada. She holds a master’s in international law, bachelor of laws (JD equivalent), and bachelor of arts, as well as various board and advisory level positions.
Seema’s insight will be vital to us as we scale up our efforts to advance a just and community-centered energy transition. We are so grateful that she is serving as our newest Board member.
